Microsoft: Patch Tuesday coming

Microsoft is planning to deliver 12 security updates on February 8, addressing a total of 22 vulnerabilities.

As usual, Microsoft published an advance notification of the patches likely to be released this month in the framework of its regular security update cycle. The software giant will probably issue 12 bulletins next week. The patches will cover Windows, Internet Explorer, Office, Visual Studio and IIS. Three of the planned bulletins carry a "critical" rating, while 9 are labeled "important".

The advance list of patches to be released next Tuesday is as follows:
