Solution for recent registration problems

Several VirusBuster customers have reported registration problems since our latest Windows product packages have been published (as reported in our news item on Tuesday), despite the fact that these users have valid licence agreements.

If you encounter a registration problem, please find your latest licence agreement, and replace the registration key in your product to the one found on the licence agreement (the registration panel can be displayed by clicking on the shield icon in the system tray with the right mouse button and selecting the option from the pop-up menu).

The reason of this problem is that all users automatically received product updates this week, as the version 9 virus database used in previous product packages will cease to exist in 6 months. If a user did not replace the old licence key with the new one, which was sent with the renewal licence agreement, the product's status became non-registered.
