New versions of Windows-based products available

The latest anti-malware products and Central Management Solution are now available for download.

Installed products will automatically update to the new versions beginning from Monday.

The latest products contain the following changes:

VirusBuster Personal/Professional/for Windows Servers

• VirusBuster Professional now supports 32-bit Office applications running on 64-bit systems. Previously if 32-bit Office applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) were installed on a 64-bit operating system the protection module could not be installed. In case of 64-bit operating systems, please pay attention to the fact, that since this was previously not supported, the Office/Outlook protection will not be installed automatically as part of the update. This component has to be installed separately either manually or through Central Management Solution in this case.
• Fixed a problem, when an infected file was moved into the quarantine, but rescanning after a definition update didn’t work.
• Fixed an issue, when Office documents could not be opened in some cases due to an error in scanning.
• Fixed a problem, when the installer could only be launched on Windows 7 64-bit operating systems if the installer file was launched as an administrator.

VirusBuster Central Management Solution

• Fixed a problem, when sub-CMS computers were able to override settings on the main CMS server if they replicated settings to the main CMS before it was able to synchronize changes to sub-CMS computers.
• Fixed an issue when sub-CMS computers were not registered correctly in the replication table.
