Automatic update of unsupported products on Windows
As we had indicated earlier, our products for Microsoft Windows platforms using version 5 of our virus scan engine were released last year. They can run more efficiently and provide even higher level of protection.
Products using previous versions of our virus scan engine have already downloaded the current versions (6.3) of our software for Microsoft Windows platforms if they have valid license key and automatic product update is enabled on them.
To ensure the maximum level of protection, outdated product versions (5.3 and 6.1) at our customers will automatically receive the latest released product versions with the virus database update on 6 September 2010.
If you have disabled the automatic virus database update, please update the installed product manually as soon as possible to have an up-to-date antivirus protection.
Automatic update after installation is enabled by default in our products. If this function is disabled in the products you use, we recommend enabling it for the maximum level of your protection.
