Agnitum renews license agreement with VirusBuster
Two well-known players of the international IT security marketplace have reinforced their cooperation. Russia-based Agnitum continues to license Hungary-based VirusBuster's antivirus engine.
The two companies have been working together for years. Based on a cross-licensing agreement, Agnitum Outpost users have enjoyed a malware-free environment thanks to VirusBuster's technology, while VirusBuster has used Agnitum's security suite to create its own all-in-one solution. Now the parties have agreed to renew their contract. Licensing VirusBuster's robust antivirus engine, Agnitum will remain the Hungarian firm's technology partner.
"Our cooperation with VirusBuster has been an inexhaustible source of antivirus innovation. The company's significant experience and technological insight has helped us enhance our own anti-malware capabilities and signature-based protection. For over three years, VirusBuster's antivirus technology has been doing a good job as part of our comprehensive solutions -- a good reason to keep this partnership continuous and stable for a long time", said Maxim Korobtsev, Agnitum's Chief Technical Officer.
"Agnitum is a long-term partner for us. Our close cooperation in technology has been to mutual benefit. The result: solid security solutions by both companies", added Péter Agócs, VirusBuster's Director of Research.
Founded in 1999, Agnitum Ltd. (www.agnitum.com) is committed to delivering and supporting high-quality, easy-to-use security software.
