With its two decades of experience, VirusBuster has international reputation in the field of computer security. Based in Budapest, Hungary, the company delivers full-fledged antivirus, antispam and other security solutions on all major computer platforms to its customers in over 30 countries on five continents. VirusBuster has established partnerships with several industry leaders, and its antivirus engine has been integrated into the products of a number of prominent vendors, including Microsoft. Many large Hungarian organizations have chosen VirusBuster to take care of their security as well, such as the University of Debrecen, Eötvös Loránd University (Budapest), leading telecom company Invitel, the Hungarian Development Bank, and the country's state-owned television.

In 2010, VirusBuster reached out to a new customer base. After careful product redesign and service development, the company made available its technology, already widely recognized by large organizations, to premium home users and SMEs.

VirusBuster’s experts have gained worldwide reputation, and are regular presenters at international conferences. CEO Julianna Bozsó received the “The IT Manager of 2008 award” from the Hungarian Association of IT Companies (IVSZ).

The company was awarded the “Innovative business solution” prize in 2003, and was named as an “IT Hopeful” in 2004. It won two “Distinguished Software Exporter” titles from IVSZ. VirusBuster has been certified as meeting the ISO 9001:2008 quality assurance standard since 2005. In 2009, the company's web store earned a “Fair Business“ certificate, and VirusBuster was awarded Hungary's Business Ethics Prize.
